The TopOfTheOx competition has finished and we've been invited to play at the winners gig. We're also nominated for the "Best Band" award.
Thanks you many of you lovely voting people, we stood our ground against the folk and acoustic masses, and came 4th in the competition. Not being oxford grads and not playing painfully 'now' music, we didn't have the whole of our colleges voting behind us - but we still managed a respectable place, which has won us the chance to play at The Carling Academy.
Theres no simply way we're going to play our first gig at The Academy to someone else's fans. That would suck. If you can make it, please come, doing us a huge favour and out-numbering everyone else!
Bring as many as humanly possible!

Many of you have asked about our pending ITV slot and its now finally available!
Thanks loads to Top Of The Ox in particular for putting the whole thing on, but also to James Marcus Tucker who did the shooting itself and then was nice about us on his blog :)
Piggy-backing on this recent media coverage, we'd also like to advertise our gig coming on Tuesday, which happens to be with Stornoway - another band in the top 5 of the Top Of The Ox competition.
The gig is at The Jericho Tavern, Oxford on Tuesday 17th July

Its been just over a year since we recorded anything and its high time we gave the fans another dose of rock - a treble dose in fact!
We've uploaded 3 new tracks, Drinks & Darkness, These Four Walls, The Ones You Hate, to the music page and also to our Myspace profile too.
We recorded these round a mate's house/studio. Its just down the road from us so hopefully it'll be the start of more regular recordings. We've got loads of tracks waiting to get recorded, but we wanted to start with the 3 most enjoyed ones from our recent gigs.
Watch this space and we'll administer your next dose of rock as soon as we can!

Its been a while since our last update, a hell of a long while! Life has a habit of flying past one day and moving like a glacier the next, but it seems after a glacial period we've suddenly got quite a bit on our plates...
Top Of The Ox
...is a local competition run at/by the website http://topoftheox.co.uk
Its been running for 5 but we entered 2 weeks ago and although we started at 30th on the leaderboard, we're now all of a sudden 5th! In fact The Risk was the 2nd most played track last week, which gained us radio play on Oxford 107.9 right in the middle of drivetime, which was pretty cool!
The competition works entirely by text voting and you can vote as many times as you want!

Gig with King Furnace
On May 24th and June 7th, we're supporting the brilliant King Furnace. The 24th is at at The Cellar, Oxford, The 7th is at The Hobgoblin, Bicester. Nuff said really - they're gigs and are a time to rock like theres no tomorrow, be there!
Recording
On May 25th, we're going back into the studio to record 2, possibly 3 songs. Drinks & Darkness is first, but the other two you won't have heard before - OMG - so exciting!!
